Subliminally

Subliminally
You pour your heart out
Word by word
Sentence by sentence
Like a shy cloud
That without much ado
Rains itself all over a dry land
Expecting to be absorbed
Expecting to be understood
But above all expectations
Just being a cloud
Showering down

Desertly,
I capture the unsaid words
With the wisdom of a fool
And an overbuilt caution
Like the cat who walks surreptiously
Over an offering of cold milk
In a hot summer day
Uncertain what to do next
Afraid to take a step forward
And be caught and captured
Just a cat being a cat
Sensitive and scared

Subliminally,
Those three little wordily devils
Float around jokingly
Laughing out loud at the puzzled me

Desertly,
I let myself be washed down
Maybe when Spring comes
New flowers will blossom
